Port Commission Meeting November 17, 2021 7:00pm and Executive Session at 6:00pm
On Wednesday, November 17, 2021, the Port of Siuslaw Commissioners will hold an Executive Session at 6:00pm per ORS 162.660(2)(i) to review and evaluate the performance of an officer, employee or staff member, and ORS 192.660(2)(h) to consult with our attorney regarding our legal rights and duties in regard to current litigation or litigation that is more likely than not to be filed. Executive sessions are closed to the public. The Commission will hold their regular meeting at 7pm at the Port conference room, located at 100 Harbor Street in Florence, Oregon. Regular meetings are open to the public. Due to COVID 19, the meeting will also be available via ZOOM. For more information, call 541-997-3426.

Celebrate the 4th of July at the Port of Siuslaw
The Port of Siuslaw invites the public to enjoy the 4th of July Fireworks, hosted by the Florence Area Chamber of Commerce.
The Port of Siuslaw property offers an excellent vantage viewpoint for the official fireworks display, which will be launched from Port property. There is plenty of viewing space on the boardwalk, as well as Nopal and Harbor Street parking lots. Additional parking is available at the Florence Events Center, and at the west end of Bay Street.
The RV campground at the Port will be closed to the public and RV campground campers and their guests will be the only people admitted. Chairs and blankets are prohibited on the marina walkways.
Please remember personal fireworks are prohibited on Port property and the Old Town area. In addition, personal fireworks are not allowed on public streets or right of ways throughout the community, beaches, dunes and forests. The Port wishes to remind guests the City of Florence’s rules governing the consumption of alcohol also apply to Port property as well.
The Chamber of Commerce, Port of Siuslaw, Florence Police Department, Siuslaw Fire and Rescue and the City of Florence are working together to ensure everybody enjoys a safe and memorable Fourth of July Celebration!

Work Session 1-28-21 5:00pm
On Thursday January 28, 2021 the Port of Siuslaw Commissioners will hold a work session at 5:00 pm at the Port conference room, located at 100 Harbor Street in Florence, Oregon. The work session will be to review the Port’s strategic business plan with Lane Council of Governments (LCOG). Work sessions are open to the public however we are encouraging the public to not attend in person. Only a limited number of audience members will be allowed to attend due to COVID-19 and social distancing guidelines. 15 New Pull Through Camp Sites
The blue storage buildings have been removed and the Port has added 15 new pull through camp sites. These sites are full hook up sites . The sites are complete but we will be doing some landscaping through out the summer. Thank you for your patience.
Boat Launch to open 5-15-20
We at the Port of Siuslaw want to assure you that we take the health and well-being of our community, customers, employees, and associates very seriously.
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, we will require the public, while on port property, to practice social distancing and adhere strictly to COVID-19 safety procedures. Fish cleaning stations and public docks are still closed until further notice. The Port Campground and Administration office is also closed to the public however, we will still be available by phone at 541-997-3040.

Budget Committee Meeting 5-7-20
NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING
A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Port of Siuslaw, Lane County, Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021 will be held at the Port of Siuslaw, 100 Harbor St in Florence. The first meeting will take place on May 7, 2020 at 5:30pm.
Members of the public who wish to attend the meeting should do so by dialing 1-317-762-7200 at the designated time and entering the Meeting ID 2236457409. Individuals who wish to attend the meeting but who do not have the ability to attend by phone should contact Kelly, Administrative Assistant, at least 48 hours prior to the noticed meeting time, by phone at 541-997-3426 or by email at kelly@portofsiuslaw.com. A second meeting, if needed, will be announced.
The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget.
This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may call in to the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee.
A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained by contacting Kelly at 541-997-3426 or by email at kelly@portofsiuslaw.com and will be posted on our website at www.portofsiuslaw.com on May 1, 2020. Unfortunately, our office is closed to the public at this time.
