The Port of Siuslaw has finally received all permits for its Wharf Improvement project. The contractor, Legacy Contracting, Inc., will begin work on Monday, 10 December 2012.
Single lane closures may occur on Bay Street as equipment and materials are moved on site. Pile driving work is scheduled to begin on Thursday, 13 December.
Part or all of Mo’s Restaurant parking lot may be closed during the project. Customers are encouraged to park in the Port’s parking lot across Bay Street from Mo’s, and/or to park in the large Nopal Street parking lot at the corner of First and Nopal Streets.
Pedestrian access to both Mo’s and ICM Restaurants will be maintained during the project and both restaurants are expected to remain open for normal business hours during the project.
