Craig Brandt and Craig Zolezzi Become New Port Commissioners
At the Regular Meeting, held on June, 20, 2018, Port staff administered the oath of office to Craig Brandt to hold Position #2 seat and Craig Zolezzi to hold Position #4 on the Port Commission . The next Port Commission meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 18, at the Port office located at 100 Harbor Street. The Commissioners will elect officers and assign committee responsibilities. Budget Hearing Scheduled for 20 June 2018 at 7pm
A Budget Hearing is scheduled during the regular meeting of the Port of Siuslaw Board of Commissioners on June 20, 2018 at 7:00 pm at the Port office located at 100 Harbor St, Florence, Oregon. The Board will discuss the budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2018 as approved by the Port of Siuslaw Budget Committee. Click here for a copy of the approved FY18-19 budget. The budget may also be inspected or obtained at 100 Harbor Street, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. or online at www.portofsiuslaw.com. This budget is for an annual budget period. This budget was prepared on a basis of accounting that is the same as the preceding year.

Port Commission meeting Wednesday April 25, 2018 at 7pm
On Wednesday, April 25, 2018, the Port of Siuslaw Commissioners will hold their regular meeting at 7pm at the Port conference room, located at 100 Harbor Street in Florence, Oregon. Following the the regular meeting, the Commissioners will meet in executive session per ORS192.660(2)(e) to conduct deliberations with persons designated to negotiate real property transactions. 2-21-18 Board Meeting and Agenda
On Wednesday, February 21, 2018, the Port of Siuslaw Commissioners will hold a work session at 6pm and their regular meeting at 7pm at the Port conference room, located at 100 Harbor Street in Florence, Oregon. The work session will include a presentation by Dave Harlen with Business Oregon. The regular meeting will include an update on the Erosion Repair Project and a Resolution for an appropriations transfer. Work sessions and regular meetings are open to the public. Following the regular meeting, the Commissioners will meet in executive session per ORS 192.660 (2) (e) to conduct deliberations with persons designated to negotiate real property transactions, and per ORS 192.660(2)(a) to review Port Manager applications. Port Commission Recruits for Port Manager
The Port of Siuslaw Commission is accepting applications for the Port Manager position. Salary Range: $50,000 – $70,000 DOE. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and life insurance. Responsibilities include managing port operations and maintenance, tenant and public relations, promoting economic development, financial/grant management, public contracting, and regulatory compliance. Request for Proposals – Realtor to Market Property
The Port of Siuslaw is seeking proposals from established real estate brokers to assist in the marketing and sale of the Port’s 38.66 acre lot, located in the Pacific View Industrial Park. The property is zoned light industrial, and is a Certified Shovel Ready Site by the State of Oregon. You will be scheduled to give a short presentation of your proposal at a Port of Siuslaw Commissioner work session, scheduled for Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 6pm. Selection will be made during the regular meeting following the work session.
The Port Commissioners will select a realtor based on the following criteria:
- Experience marketing properties for other public entities.
- Knowledge of shovel ready status.
- Ideas regarding zoning changes and mixed use availabilities.
- Realtor Commission fee.
Please include a cover letter that describes your experience with the above criteria, three references, and a list of recent sales of large properties or other commercial properties.
Respondents wishing to protest should follow Protest Procedures as found in Oregon Public Contracting Rules, Chapter 37, Division 47, 137-047-0730 and -0740.

The Port of Siuslaw may cancel this procurement or reject any or all proposals in accordance with ORS 279B.100.

Port Commission October Meeting in Mapleton
